FIRST PAYMENT/DEPOSIT
To secure your spot on any tour with Acton Travel and Tour, a deposit of 25% of the total tour price per person is required at the time of booking. For group tours, we strive to accommodate the unique needs of our clients. Therefore, we can be flexible with the deposit required, depending on the specific services being offered. This flexibility ensures that group travelers can plan their trips with greater ease and confidence, knowing that we are committed to providing a tailored and supportive experience.
If you make a reservation within 30 days of the departure date, full payment is required immediately upon confirmation.
Acton Travel and Tour accepts payments via credit cards and bank wire transfers.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND
All cancellations of confirmed reservations are subject to a $200 per person administrative fee. Additionally, clients are responsible for any cancellation fees imposed by service providers, including hotels and third-party providers.
For group bookings, we understand that plans can change unexpectedly. Therefore, we are willing to review cancellation requests on a case-by-case basis and may make exceptions to our standard policies. This flexibility aims to accommodate the unique needs of group travelers.
CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12
Children under the age of 12 are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the trip. This policy ensures that young travelers have the necessary care and supervision throughout their journey. Whether it’s for safety, logistical reasons, or to assist with any specific needs during the trip, the presence of a responsible adult is essential. Parents or guardians will be expected to provide proper oversight, support, and guidance to ensure the child’s well-being and enjoyment during the trip. If you plan to travel with a child under 12, please make sure to arrange for a suitable adult companion to accompany them for the duration of the journey.
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
For high school students, it is mandatory to obtain written consent from their parents or guardians before participating in the trip. This consent ensures that the parents or guardians are fully aware of and approve of the travel plans, including any activities, accommodations, and logistics involved. It also acknowledges their responsibility in case of any emergencies or other circumstances that may arise during the trip. The consent form will typically require details such as medical information, emergency contacts, and any special instructions or needs the student may have. Parents or guardians should carefully review all trip details and sign the consent form to confirm their approval and support for the student’s participation.
